Martin Dominates MotoGP’s Portuguese Grand Prix

Jorge Martin enjoyed a stress-free drive en route to winning Sunday’s MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix.

After snagging the holeshot from his third-place starting position, Martin led all 25 laps to score the victory over Ducati’s Enea Bastianini. On the final lap, Bastianini blasted by Maverick Vinales, who was slowing.

Vinales crashed in turn one shortly after, ending his chances of a solid finish.

Pedro Acosta claimed his maiden podium in MotoGP with a third-place result.

With two laps to go, Marc Marquez and defending champion Francesco Bagnaia collided while battling for fifth. That sent both riders to the back of the grid and out of the race.

Trackhouse Racing Team had a mixed bag of results, with Miguel Oliveira placing a solid ninth while Raul Fernandez failed to finish due to an early crash.
