ARAGON, Spain — On occasions, motorsports is about witnessing greatness and enjoying an athlete performing at the very top of their game. That’s what happened during this weekend’s GoPro Grand Prix of Aragon.
Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team), for the first time since 2015, topped every session in a grand prix weekend, concluding a dominant weekend with his seventh victory at MotorLand.
On home turf, Marquez’s brother and title rival Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) took second ahead of Mar Marquez’s teammate Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team).
Red Bull rider Pedro Acosta finished fourth, with Franco Morbidelli fifth for Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team.
Marc Marquez, who earned his fourth victory of the season, heads to Mugello with a 32-point championship lead over Alex Marquez.
