Marc Marquez rode third until crashing in turn eight on lap three. The six-time world champion battled back through the field to finish 12th.

After being second for much of 2025, Alex Marquez clinched a well-deserved maiden MotoGP Grand Prix victory in front of the home crowd of more than 100,000.

Maverick Vinales finished fourth for Red Bull KTM, while Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) was fifth.
