Aldegeur Gets First MotoGP Win

MANDALIKA, Indonesia — Fermin Aldegeur became the second youngest MotoGP winner in history after posting a dominant victory in Sunday’s Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia.

Riding for BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP, Aldeguer took the lead on lap seven and raced away for his first victory.

The race was marred by a lap one crash involving world champion Marc Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi. Marquez suffered a collarbone injury in the accident.

Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) collected P2 ahead of Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP).

Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) finished fourth and Luca Marini (Honda HRC Castrol) fifth.
