It’s time for a new edition of SPEED SPORT Power Rankings. Who will be on top this week?

1. William Byron

Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron won the Daytona 500 for the second consecutive season. Last Week: Not Ranked

2. Kyle Larson

Having won the Chili Bowl Nationals in January, Kyle Larson added two victories and four top-three finishes in four nights of World of Outlaws sprint car competition at Volusia Speedway Park. Last Week: 1

3. Devin Moran

Devin Moran added a World of Outlaws Late Model Series triumph at Volusia Speedway Park to his three Lucas Oil Late Model Series victories this season. Last Week: 3

4. Ron Capps

Three-time NHRA Funny Car champion Ron Capps started the drag racing season with a victory in the PRO Superstar Shootout at Bradenton (Fla.) Motorsports Park. The NHRA season begins March 6-9 at Gainesville (Fla.) Raceway. Last Week: 2

5. Ricky Thornton Jr.

Ricky Thornton grabbed a pair of DIRTcar late model feature wins during the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park and earned the Big Gator championship in the division. Thornton has won five features this season. Last Week: 6

6. Jonathan Davenport

Jonathan Davenport picked up a World of Outlaws Late Model Series and DIRTcar late model victory, giving him four triumphs already this season. Last Week: 10

7. Patrick Emerling

Patrick Emerling won four Tour-type modified features, including the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season opener, while winning the class title during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. Last Week: Not Ranked

8. Shawn Reed

Former boat racer Shawn Reed made his first Top Fuel victory a big one, claiming the PRO Superstar Shootout at Bradenton (Fla.) Motorsports Park. Last Week: 5

9. Kyle Cummins

Kyle Cummins was the only driver to win two features during the USAC Winter Games for the USAC National Sprint Car Championship at Volusia Speedway Park and Ocala Speedway. Last Week: Not Ranked

10. Gavan Boschele 

Seventeen-year-old Gavan Boschele claimed the ASA STARS National Tour season opener at New Smyrna Speedway and won another super late model feature en route to the championship during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. Last Week: Not Ranked

On The Move: William Byron broke into the rankings and jumped to No. 1 with his Daytona 500 triumph. Jonathan Davenport moved from 10th to sixth, while Patrick Emerling, Kyle Cummins and Gavan Boschele entered the power rankings.

What To Watch For?: All three NASCAR national touring series will be back in action at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.

Dropped Out: Chase Elliott, Stewart Friesen, Curt Spalding and the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsports team dropped from the power rankings this week.
