With 24 events, the 2026 FIA Formula 1 schedule will begin the first weekend in March and run through the first weekend in December.
The season opens March 6-8 in Australia and concludes Dec. 4-6 in Abu Dhabi.
With Ramadan taking place in February and March, the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian rounds will be run in April.
Helping with travel logistics, the Canadian Grand Prix moves to May 22-24 to directly follow the Miami Grand Prix. As a result, Monaco moves to June 5-7, placing the Canadian Grand Prix in direct conflict with the Indianapolis 500 on the same day.
The European section of the schedule begins in Monaco and wraps up Sept. 13 in Spain.
The championship then returns to Asia with the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix, ahead of a tripleheader in the Americas, before Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi close out the season.
“2026 will be a new era for Formula 1 where we will witness a brand-new set of regulations for our sport, the cars and the engines that will be powered by 100% sustainable fuel,” said Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali. “We are excited to welcome Madrid to the calendar, and to see huge automotive brands like Audi, Cadillac and Ford join the Formula 1 grid.
“It promises to be an unforgettable season, where once again we will come together at 24 amazing global venues to watch the best drivers in the world push themselves to the limit and produce incredible wheel to wheel racing for our millions of fans watching around the globe.”
