GLORY DAYS: Ron Shuman Wins At Eldora

Ron Shuman used a three-week break in the World of Outlaws scheduled to improve his race car and roared to his first victory of the 1984 season at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway on Sunday afternoon, April 8.

Shuman drove the Stephens No. 21x around Sammy Swindell, who won Saturday’s preliminary feature, with three laps remaining and roared to the $6,425 victory at the famed half-mile track.

Tim Green passed Swindell late to finish second. Swindell, his brother Jeff, and Doug Wolfgang rounded out the top five.
