SEALED UNDER PRESSURE: Logan Seavey

Two-time USAC National Midget Champion Logan Seavey hadn’t won a race in the series in 533 days.

That changed in Saturday night’s Chase Johnson Classic a California’s Merced Speedway.

Driving the No. 57 Abacus Racing midget, Seavey ran down leader Jacob Denney and took the lead as the duo raced to the white flag.

Seavey held off Denney over the final two circuits to claim his 19th series victory but first since June 8, 2024.

While Seavey won the midget feature, Corey Day claimed top honors in the 360 winged sprint cars, which completed the card for the inaugural Chase Johnson Classic.
