IMPERIAL, Calif. — Reigning USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series champion Ricky Lewis got his first victory of the season Friday night at Imperial Valley Raceway.
Lewis started fourth in the 30-lap main event and grabbed the lead from R.J. Johnson on lap 25.
He led the final six circuits for the victory with sixth-starting Johnson finishing second.
A.J. Bender, Austin Williams and Connor Lundy completed the top five.
