INDIANAPOLIS — Kaylee Bryson will return to the No. 11 Abacus Racing midget for two upcoming USAC events and the Chili Bowl Nationals in January.
Bryson will join teammate Logan Seavey for the Nov. 25 USAC Nos Energy Drink National Midget Championship race at Bakersfield and the Nov. 29 Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway.
Bryson will also team with NTT IndyCar Series driver Santino Ferrucci for the Chili Bowl with Indy Powersports as her primary sponsor.
“I have stated many times, that working with Kaylee was something as a team
we always wanted to do. Now that we have worked directly with Kaylee for a couple of
years, I can say it is easy for us as a team to keep putting Kaylee in the car,” said Team Principal Brent Cox. “She fits right in with our personalities, and she does a great job behind the wheel.”
For the second year in a row, the team and Bryson have worked together at the
BC39 at the Dirt Track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with racing in California and
then the Chili Bowl.
“I have a lot going on with my career, and so it is not always easy to find dates we can work together. But, these races always seem to work with my schedule, so it is nice that we can make them happen,” Bryson said. “It gets me some good laps in a midget with USAC, which is always nice as I have a lot of very positive history there.”
