Sprint Rankings: Macri & Sweet Lead Regions

Seven 410 winged sprint car races are now in the books this season and the second addition of the Sprint Car Rankings has been released.

Commissioned by Tom Deery and Brian Carter in 2009, the Sprint Car Rankings are administered by longtime racing official Gary Spaid.

The Eastern and Western regions are now open and the National Sprint Car Rankings will begin when drivers start to reach the 20-start mark, which is required to be eligible for the National rankings. David Gravel finished on top last season.

Anthony Macri, who won Monday night’s World of Outlaws feature at Volusia Speedway Park, is the only two-time winner so far this season and he leads the Eastern region standings by a mere two points over Carson Macedo and Buddy Kofoid, who are tied for second.

Five-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet won the NARC 410 Sprint Car Series season opener at Kern Raceway and he leads the Western region.
