Sprint Rankings: Gravel Remains In Control

As the winged sprint car season begins to fade away, David Gravel continues to be in control of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Gravel, who has won 16 features this season, boasts an average finish of 2.52 in 62 features this season.

Buddy Kofoid ranks second with a 3.269 average finish in 67 races, while Danny Dietrich ranks third with an average finish of 3.877 in 72 starts.

Carson Macedo and Rico Abreu round out the top five.

One hundred and 76 drivers have reached the 20-start plateau to be considered in the National Sprint Rankings.

Seven hundred and 88 drivers have run at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Justin Sanders has taken the lead in the Western region by 11 markers over D.J. Netto.

Anthony Macri (Eastern), Cap Henry (Great Lakes), Joe B. Miller (Mid-America), Ryan Timms (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.

One hundred and 60 drivers have combined to win 464 features thus far this season.

Henry leads the country with 17 victories.
