With a victory at Indiana’s Lincoln Park Speedway on Friday night, World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel strengthened his hold on the top spot in the National Sprint Car Rankings.
A winner of 17 features this season, carries an average finish of 2.412 in 66 races this season.
Buddy Kofoid, who is chasing Gravel in the WoO points race, remains second in the National Sprint Car Rankings as well. Kofoid has an average finish of 3.411 in 71 main events.
Rico Abreu wrapped up the High Limit Racing title with a sweep of the two features at Texas Motor Speedway, while jumping to third in the National Sprint Car Rankings. Abreu has an average finish of 3.92 in 63 races this season.
Danny Dietrich and Carson Macedo round out the top five.
One hundred and 79 drivers have reached the 20-start plateau to be considered in the National Sprint Rankings. Dietrich leads the nation with 75 starts.
Eight hundred and one drivers have run at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.
Justin Sanders regained the lead in the Western region.
Anthony Macri (Eastern), Cap Henry (Great Lakes), Joe B. Miller (Mid-America), Ryan Timms (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.
One hundred and 62 drivers have combined to win 482 features thus far this season.
Abreu leads the country with 18 victories.
