Sprint Rankings: Gravel Extends Advantage

With his 14th victory of the season Friday night at Vado Speedway Park in New Mexico, David Gravel remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

Gravel, who is one of 20 drivers who have reached the 50-start mark and has begun dropping his worst finishes, has an average finish of 2.80 in 55 starts.

Michael “Buddy” Kofoid remains second in the rankings with a 3.880 average finish in 60 races this season. Danny Dietrich rounds out the top five with a 4.040 average finish with 62 races on his docket.

Carson Macedo and Cap Henry complete the top five.

Seven hundred and 65 drivers have run at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season with 157 making at least 20 starts.

Anthony Macri (Eastern), D.J. Netto (Western), Henry (Great Lakes), Joe B. Miller (Mid-America), Ryan Timms (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.

One hundred and 49 drivers have combined to win 409 features thus far this season.

Henry leads the country with 15 feature wins.
