Newell Notches Port City Belt

TULSA, Okla. — Jeffrey Newell earned top honors in Saturday night’s multi-division micro sprint program at Port City Raceway.

Newell started his No. 1s machine second in the headlining non-wing micro division and won the 25-lap main event ahead of Wout Hoffmans, who romped from 14th on the grid to finish second.

Friday night winner Cullen Hutchison, Jett Nunley and Camden Kroening completed the top five. Sixty cars were on hand in the division.

Nathan Manual won the sportsman micro feature, while Masyn Truitt topped the restrictor micro main event.

Grayson Logan came. Home first in the Junior Sprint division.
