Move-In Complete For 41st Tulsa Shootout

TULSA, Okla. — Move-in day for the 41st running of the Hyper Racing Tulsa Shootout powered by NOS Energy at the SageNet Center took place over the weekend.

And it was a busy day as there is a record entry list for the annual event that begins on Monday night.

The current count sits at 2,016 entries among 831 drivers from 42 states and six countries. The previous record was set in 2025 with 1,855 entries received.

“From the day we started the Tulsa Shootout, I never imagined it would get this big,” was all event founder Emmett Hahn could say as he shook his head in amazement.

Spending Saturday parking teams inside the SageNet Center, over 90% of everyone who entered are currently in the building. Set up to try and get everyone in on one go, the process allows late-arriving teams to unload and roll their equipment into the pits on Sunday morning.

On Saturday’s move-in, Tulsa Expo Raceway Director of Operations, Watt Ward, commented, “Every year, parking is a challenge, and this year made us rethink and redo a few things leading into this weekend, and it helped, and we’re already taking notes to make the next event even smoother. It’s certainly a process to get everyone in, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding that yes, it’s going to be tight, but we’ll get you inside the Expo.”

The 41st running of the Hyper Racing Tulsa Shootout Powered By NOS Energy gets underway on Monday, December 29, with practice for all divisions starting at 9 a.m.
