LAS VEGAS — Honest Abe Roofing, America’s leading roofing franchise, will sponsor the 2026 Open Wheel Showdown at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
This premier pavement, short-track event will return for its fourth running November 5-7 with winged sprint cars, supermodifieds and more competing for more than $250,000 in prize money.
Honest Abe Roofing will present Friday’s qualifying night which has expanded in 2026, featuring time trials, heat races, pole shuffles and C features for the sprint cars, modifieds and Legend car divisions.
Kevin Newton, founder and CEO of Honest Abe Roofing, claimed a thrilling victory in the inaugural Larry Trigueiro Memorial for supermodifieds during the 2025 Open Wheel Showdown. Newton’s incredible pass to secure the top spot marked a triumphant return to his racing roots after founding and growing his roofing empire since 2007.

The 2026 Open Wheel Showdown includes the $50,000-to-win winged sprint car feature and $10,000-to-win for both the Larry Trigueiro Memorial for supermodifieds and for the modifieds.
