Goodyer Claims Australian Sprintcar Championship

MT. GAMBIER, Australia — Jock Goodyer claimed Saturday night’s Australian Sprintcar Championship race at Borderline Speedway.

Goodyer took the lead from Ryan Newton and held off James McFadden to take the checkered flag.

Newton, Lachlan McHugh and Todd Moule completed the top five.
