1,155 Cars For 433 Races At Tulsa Shootout

TULSA, Okla. — The 41st annual Hyper Racing Tulsa Shootout powered by NOS Energy Drink has finally arrived with the first day of competition kicking off on Tuesday, December 30.

Taking to the track Monday with 177 rounds of practice that began at 9 a.m., things wrapped up at the SageNet Center at Expo Square around 6:15 p.m.

Accounting for a few late arrivals on Monday, the total number of entries into the 2026 event stands at 2,079 with 2,010 officially drawing in for competition among 851 drivers from 43 states and six countries.

An event designed to allow drivers to run multiple disciplines throughout the week, those drivers will hit the track in 1,155 individual cars, set to contest 433 races, with the final six contested races being the championship feature events on Saturday, January 3.

A total of 4,014 competitive green flag laps are scheduled.

December 30 through January 3 opens at 7 a.m. each day with cars on track 9 a.m.
