Two-Time Winner Seavey Leads Friday’s Chili Bowl Field

TULSA, Okla. — Two-time Chili Bowl Nationals winner Logan Seavey brings the star power to Friday night’s fifth and final preliminary night for the 40th annual event inside the SageNet Center.

Seavey, who won the race in 2023 and 2024, will again wheel Kevin Swindell’s potent No 39 midget as he pursues a third Chili Bowl triumph on Hard Rock Casino Qualifying Night.

Seavey owns four preliminary night victories, including the past three years in succession.

A five-time preliminary night winner, USAC Silver Crown champion Justin Grant will wheel the No. 87 fielded by CB Industries in Friday’s program. Grant’s best Chili Bowl main event finish was second in 2021.

Winged sprint car sensation Giovanni Scelzi, who will race with High Limit Racing this season, returns to a midget aboard the Keith Kunz Motorsports with Curb-Agajanian No. 71. He will team with frequent national midget winner Gavin Miller, who will wheel the KKM No. 97. Miller finished second on his preliminary night last year.

Former World of Outlaws champion Daryn Pittman makes another Chili Bowl run in the No. 21 fielded by Matt Wood Racing. Pittman, who ran his first Chili Bowl in 1997, has made eight Saturday night features with a best finish of second in 2017.

Steven Snyder Jr. will drive Chase McDermand’s No. 40 midget, while Hayden Reinbold wheels the Reinbold-Underwood No. 19a and Michael Faccinto steers a Trifecta Motorsports entry.

Jesse Love, Santino Ferrucci, Casey Shuman and Cale Coons are among others competing on Friday night.
