30 Years: Who Has Won The Front Row Challenge?

OSKALOOSA, Iowa — The 30th annual American Rebel Light Front Row Challenge is tonight (Aug. 4) at Southern Iowa Speedway.

Promoted by sprint car Hall of Famer Terry McCarl and his wife Lori, the annual event was first run in 1996 at the half-mile race track.

Through the years, some of the best sprint car racers in the world have won the race that is traditionally run the Monday prior to the Knoxville Nationals at nearby Knoxville Raceway.

Kyle Larson, who is the defending winner of the event, and Daryn Pittman are each four-time winners of The Front Row Challenge.

This year’s race pays $21,000 to win.
