LAKE CITY, Fla. — Larry Wight powered from fourth starting spot to win the 40-lap feature that opened the three-race Showdown in the Sunshine State Thursday at All-Tech Raceway.
The event for big-block modifieds drew a stellar field to the three-eighths-mile race track.
Wight took the checkered flag ahead of outside front row starter Mat Williamson to bank the $5,000 top prize.
Matt Sheppard, Alex Payne and Darren Smith completed the top five.
Jessica Power won the sportsman feature.
