WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa — Bobby Pierce earned his fifth Slocum 50 victory Saturday night at 34 Raceway.
Pierce held back a last-lap challenge from Carson Ferguson to complete a sweep of the two nights of MARS Late Model Championship action at the West Burlington track, winning the 17th annual Slocum 50.
Pierce earned $10,555 for the victory.
Ferguson finished second, with Dennis Erb Jr., Gordy Gundaker and Tony Jackson Jr. completing the top five.
Brian Shirley was the fast qualifier for the 38-car field with a lap of 15.183 seconds.
