SENOIA, Ga. — FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota invades Senoia Raceway this Friday and Saturday to battle for a payout of over $208,000 during the fifth annual Peach State Classic.
The November 14-15 weekend finds complete programs each night including a $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start, 50-lap feature on Friday evening and a $30,000-to-win / $3,000-to-start, 75-lap finale on Saturday night.
Ricky Thornton Jr. is the defending winner of the Peach State Classic, having swept both features.
Additionally, Saturday’s Sunoco Race Fuels Fast Qualifier in the Super Late Model division will receive a $500 bonus courtesy of Shenandoah Logistics.
The weekend opens with an Open Practice Session for all weekend divisions on Thursday, November 13. The pit gate opens at 4 p.m. ET with on practice sessions beginning at 6 p.m. Classes will rotate practice sessions throughout the night.
With the final two rounds of the season on the line at Senoia Raceway, 2023 series miniseries champion, Bobby Pierce holds a 48-point advantage over 2021 series champion, Jonathan Davenport, with 2024 titlist, Ricky Thornton Jr. 96 markers removed from the lead.
Hudson O’Neal, Brandon Sheppard, Ryan Gustin, Dennis Erb Jr., Brian Shirley, Nick Hoffman, and Garrett Alberson round out the top 10 in the latest standings.
Seven events have been completed thus far in 2025 with two events remaining at Senoia Raceway. A driver’s best eight finishes count toward the title, so a drop race will be on the table for all perfect attendance drivers with the completion of both rounds of action at the Georgia oval.
Entering Friday’s action, four drivers, including Pierce, Davenport, Thornton Jr, and O’Neal have mathematical chances at the title.
With perfect attendance, the champion will receive $75,000 for the title from the $137,000 point fund with the balance of the Top 10 in the final standings earning their share of the point fund. O’Neal is the only title contender, who doesn’t have perfect attendance and would receive $50,000 if he’s able to make the Hail Mary rally for the title in just seven starts this season.
