Dale McDowell Is King Of The Mountain

MARYVILLE, Tenn. — Two of the best dirt late model drivers of all time faced off in Saturday night’s King of the Mountain Hunt The Front Dirt Series feature at Smoky Mountain Speedway.

In the end, outside front row starter Dale McDowell held off Jimmy Owens to bank the $15,000 top prize.

Hunt The Front point leader Zack Mitchell finished third, while Mike Marlar and Ricky Weiss completed the top five.
