Reed Stops Hirschman At Wall Stadium

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The annual Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium Speedway kicked off Friday with Steven Reed winning the 100-lap crate modified feature.

Reed held off Matt Hirschman over the closing laps to claim the victory on the his home race track.

Reed grabbed the lead late in the race when Max Zachem spun from the lead.

Tyler Truex finished third, with Blake Barney and Jimmy Blewett completing the top five.

NASCAR Modified Tour champion Austin Beers finished sixth.

Action continues on Saturday, headlined by the Tour-type modified main event.
