BRADENTON, Fla. — The 2025 Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial capped off with one of the most emotional and dominant performances the Freedom Factory has ever seen.
George Gorham Jr., after setting fast time in qualifying, elected to take the invert, placing himself 12th on the starting grid. What followed was a masterclass drive — and a deeply personal victory.
Gorham worked his way through the field with patience and precision during an incredible 126-lap green-flag run. His race-winning moment came coming out of Turn 4, when he powered past for the lead and never looked back. By race’s end, Gorham had lapped the field up to fourth place, leaving only three other drivers on the lead lap.
But beyond the statistics, this win carried special meaning. Gorham dedicated the victory to his father-in-law, making the emotional triumph even more powerful as he stood in victory lane surrounded by family and team.
Finishing second was Wisconsin standout Ty Majeski, who kept Gorham in sight but could not match his long-run speed.
NASCAR Cup Series driver Carson Hocevar brought home third after a strong, steady night at the front.
Nick Neri was the final driver on the lead lap in fourth, while Colin Allman rounded out the top five with a five-spot gain from his starting position.
