MADISON, Wis. — The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is set for one of the most anticipated weekends of the season.
A stellar field of super late model talent is preparing for Friday’s El Bandido Yankee Tequila Capital 250 at Madison Int’l Speedway and the El Bandido Yankee Tequila 300 at Slinger Super Speedway on Sunday.
This Father’s Day doubleheader will feature many of the top short-track racers in the country, competing for big money across two iconic Wisconsin venues.
The Midwest drivers will look to defend their home turf. Among the entered drivers include Ty Majeski, Derek Kraus, Ty Fredrickson, Austin Nason, Gabe Sommers, Luke Fenhaus, Andrew Morrissey, Penn Sauter, Levon Van Der Geest, Justin Mondeik, Ridge Oien and Gabrielle Grigsby.
Notable drivers from the west include six-time SPEARS Southwest Tour Champion Derek Kraus and former Northwest Super Late Model Series Champion Kasey Kleyn.
Canada will be well represented as current ASA STARS National Tour Points Leader Cole Butcher will be on hand along with 2024 ASA STARS National Tour Rookie of the Year Champion Kyle Steckly and 2024 CRA JEGS All Star Tour Rookie of the Year Chase Pinsonneault.
A plethora of southern drivers are set to compete, including Bubba Pollard, Stephen Nasse, Dawson Sutton, Carson Brown, Gavan Boschele and George Phillips.
