STATESVILLE, N.C. — Officials from AM Racing announced on Friday that the sale of the team to Sigma Performance Services Racing has fallen through.
The sale of the team that competes full time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series was announced shortly before Thanksgiving.
The team issued a statement on Friday regarding the team’s future.
“In November of 2025, an acquisition of AM Racing was announced. While the transaction was not finalized, AM Racing will move forward independently and remain committed to competition in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series,” the statement said.
“The organization will build upon its existing foundation for the upcoming season, with driver and team announcements forthcoming.”
