Snow Pushes Cook Out Clash To Monday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A winter storm has forced NASCAR officials to postpone Sunday’s The Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium until Monday.

The popular NASCAR exhibition race at the historic quarter-mile track is tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday.

Snow hit the Piedmont region of North Carolina on Saturday morning and had dumped approximately four inches of white stuff with the snow still falling at this writing.

NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying are set for Monday at 11 a.m. ET with live coverage on FS2.

The 20 fastest drivers in qualifying will advance to the main event. The remaining 18 drivers will fight for two transfer spots in the Last Chance Qualifier, which will run at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

The top two finishers will advance to the main event, with a provisional reserved for the driver who finished highest in 2025 driver points that did not otherwise advance.
