CONCORD, N.C. — Thomas Annunziata will return to Nitro Motorsports for a full-time effort in the ARCA Menards Series for the 2026 season.
Driving a Toyota Camry and supported by JBL, Annunziata’s campaign marks the next major milestone in a partnership that has already produced multiple victories, consistent podium results, and a proven trajectory of development within the Nitro Motorsports program.
Annunziata joins Nitro Motorsports’ expanding ARCA lineup following a successful run with the team in prior seasons across Trans Am and ARCA events, providing victories along the way. His speed, adaptability, and natural progression through Nitro’s driver development system have positioned him as a significant contender entering 2026.
“Thomas has been an important part of our organization for several years, and we’re thrilled to have him back full-time in ARCA for 2026,” said Nick Tucker, Co-Owner of Nitro Motorsports. “He’s shown incredible talent from the first day he joined us—from race wins in TA2 to standout performances in ARCA. With continued support from JBL and the resources we’re building within our ARCA program, Thomas is poised for a championship-contending season.”
Annunziata, who has steadily climbed the ranks under the Nitro Motorsports banner, expressed his excitement for the upcoming year.
“I will be driving for Nitro Motorsports full-time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2026,” added Thomas Annunziata. “I am just so blessed to be doing this full-time next season. I can’t thank Nick Tucker, Trent Rodriguez, and Shannon Rursch enough for this opportunity. I am excited to work with Shannon. I think we are going to do great things in our JBL No. 70 Toyota Camry, and I think we have a bright future ahead.”
Annunziata and Nitro Motorsports have enjoyed a strong history across multiple categories, including TA2 wins in the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli, consistent success in development programs, and impressive ARCA performances that helped pave the way for this full-time campaign.
