Yankowski Claims Eastern States 200 Glory

MIDDLTOWN, N.Y. — Alex Yankowski claimed the biggest victory of his career Sunday night at Orange County Fair Speedway.

Driving the modified usually driven by injured Stewart Friesen, Yankowski claimed the 64th running of the Eastern States 200 at the five-eighths-mile dirt track.

Yankowski led Tyler Dippel to the checkered flag after 200 laps of competition.

Peter Britten, Jack Lehner and Matt Sheppard completed the top five.
