  1. Austin Prock

The regular-season champion, Austin Prock was a semi-final finisher as the Countdown to the Championship began at Maple Grove Raceway. Prock has won seven NHRA Funny Car races this season. Last Week: 2

  1. Bobby Pierce

World of Outlaws Late Model Series point leader Bobby Pierce has earned 29 overall late model victories this season. Last Week: 3

  1. Connor Zilisch

NASCAR Xfinity Series point leader Connor Zilisch finished fifth in the playoff kickoff at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. He has won nine races this season. Last Week: 4

  1. Christopher Bell

Christopher Bell became the third Joe Gibbs Racing driver to win in as many weeks of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, taking his fourth victory of the season at Bristol Motor Speedway. Last Week: Not Ranked

  1. Ricky Thornton Jr.

Ricky Thornton Jr. finally claimed victory in late model racing’s post coveted race — the World 100 at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway. Thornton has won 23 features this season. Last Week: 5

Racing with a broken foot, Justin Grant picked up another USAC sprint car victory, winning at Circle City Raceway. He has 15 USAC wins this season, including 10 in the sprint car division. Last Week: 10

Four-time IndyCar Series champion Alex Palou finished second in the season-ending Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway. He has eight victories this season. Last Week: 8

Dallas Glenn drove to his fifth NHRA Pro Stock victory of the season as the Countdown to the Championship began at Maple Grove Raceway. Last Week: Not Ranked

  1. Buddy Kofoid

World of Outlaws driver Buddy Kofoid continued his hot second half of the season with his 12th overall victory of the campaign Friday at Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. Last Week: Not Ranked

On The Move: With a lot of the top drivers in the power rankings having below average results last week, there was little movement near the top of the standings.

What To Watch For?: The round of 12 in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Will Joe Gibbs Racing keep its three-race winning streak alive?

Dropped Out: NASCAR Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin, World of Outlaws point leader. David Gravel and High Limit sprint car racer Rico Abreu dropped from the top 10 of the power rankings.
