Tyler Reddick won the 68th running of the Daytona 500 to open the NASCAR Cup Series season Sunday at Daytona Int’l Speedway. It was the ninth victory of his career.
- Nick Hoffman
Nick Hoffman won three late model features during a four-day period and claimed the Big Gator championship during the DIRTcar Nationals at Florida’s Volusia Speedway Park.
- Anthony Macri
Anthony Macri won the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series feature that wrapped up a three-night run during the DIRTcar Nationals and won the Big Gator trophy with three top-five finishes.
- Austin Hill
Austin Hill won the season-opening United Rentals 300 for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
- Hudson O’Neal
Hudson O’Neal has already won four dirt late model features this season, including a victory with the World of Outlaws at Volusia Speedway Park.
- Eli Tomac
Eli Tomac has won three of the six races this season for the Monster Energay AMA Supercross Championship, including Saturday at Seattle’s Lumen Field.
- Brandon Overton
Brandon Overton has picked up four dirt late model victories this season, including earning $25,000 for topping the Winter Freeze at Georgia’s Screven Motor Speedway.
- Logan Seavey
Logan Seavey won two of the six features during Winter Games XVII for the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series and also captured the overall Winter Games title.
- Felipe Nasr
Felipe Nasr, Julien Andlauer and Laurin Heinrich piloted the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsports Porsche 963 to victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona Int’l Speedway. It was the third consecutive Rolex 24 triumph for Nasr.
- Larry Wight
Larry Wight won all three big-block modified features to start the season at Florida’s All-Tech Raceway and added a fourth triumph during the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.
On The Move: It will be a big week for dirt late model racers with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series both in action.
What To Watch For?: All three NASCAR national divisions will be superspeedway racing again this weekend as they visit EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Ga.
