HARRISBURG, N.C. — Kyle Larson is a once-in-a-generation talent and on Sunday, May 26, the 31-year-old father of three from Elk Grove, Calif., is scheduled to compete in the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500.
In fact, Larson is slated to do the Indy 500/Coca-Cola 600 double that day. Since he’s already won NASCAR’s longest race, I’m more excited about “Yung Money” possibly becoming the first Knoxville Nationals winner (2021 and ’23) to top The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
If he avoids disaster during practice and qualifying, Larson will be the fifth winner of winged sprint car racing’s premier event to start the Indianapolis 500.
