MUNDELEIN, Ill. — Ethan Ho will step up to the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire in 2024 with multi-race winning team Turn 3 Motorsport.
The Taiwanese-American driver competed in both USF Juniors and USF2000 last year – the first two rungs of the USF Pro Championships ladder – where he achieved a best result of third at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in USF Juniors and fifth at the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway in USF2000.
Following the 2023 season, Ho continued to work on his race craft by participating in the Formula 4 South East Asia Championship. The 18-year-old raced at Zhuzhou Int’l Circuit in China and Guia Circuit in Macau with the series, the latter of which was held during the first week of the 70th Macau Grand Prix.
Upon his return to the U.S.A., Ho joined Turn 3 Motorsport’s winter test program at Sebring Int’l Raceway and NOLA Motorsports Park in December, coming out on top on the second day at NOLA and gaining valuable seat time in preparation for his debut in the USF Pro 2000 series.
“I’m thrilled to announce my partnership with Turn 3 Motorsport for the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship,” said Ho. “While we didn’t break through for a victory, several strong runs in USF Juniors and USF2000 last year gave me the confidence to take the next step, especially with such an accomplished team. Multiple strong tests solidified this was the right team for me, and I’m eagerly anticipating the opening round in St. Petersburg, Florida. I’m excited to showcase our strength on track and can’t thank all of my supporters enough for this special opportunity.”
“It’s fantastic to add another up-and-coming driver to our program for the 2024 season,” said team owner Peter Dempsey. “Ethan is a driver I have been watching over the past few seasons, and he has made huge progress during that time. I believe he is ready to make the next step on the ladder into the USF Pro 2000 Championship. He tested with us last year at Autobahn Country Club for two days, and it went very well. On the back of that, we continued to work together for the 2024 season. He settled back into the team well at our Sebring test and really showed his speed at NOLA. Now it’s important to keep pushing ahead to make sure he can deliver his speed across the season in his rookie campaign. He has a great group around him that truly believes in his ability, and I think he will be a strong contender in the 2024 championship.”
Ho will drive the No. 68 USF Pro 2000 car for Turn 3 Motorsport.
