IRWINDALE, Calif. — Irwindale Speedway’s Farewell Extravaganza featured 14 divisions as the track ran its final racing slate after 25 years of action.
Kicking off the events with hot laps, multi-time track champion Trevor Huddleston drove around the track with his father, track president Tim Huddleston in the passenger seat. The duo capped off the evening with a burnout.
Trevor Huddleston went on to win the 75-lap ARCA Menards Series West feature ahead of Tyler Reif and NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Cole Custer by nearly seven seconds.Â
The Crown Vics feature was won by Rider Gardner. Gardner gapped runner-up finisher Robert Rice by over four-and-a-half seconds. Bory Molina snagged the Enduro feature over Gardner.
Skyler Schoppe won the four-car Jr. Late Model feature ahead of Eli Black, Kellen Keller and Kourtney Baker.Â
Two Legends features were on the evening’s slate with Tyler Reif scoring the first feature. NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Lawless Alan placed fifth in the feature. Reif ran runner-up to Jake Bollman in the second feature.
The 20-lap modified feature went to Eric Rhead. In the pro late model event, which featured 31 cars, Jeffrey Peterson paced the event over Dylan Cappello.Â
Chad Miller was the only driver to finish on the lead lap of the Skid Plate feature. The 40-lap Spec Racers feature went to Robert Arevalo. IMSA driver Jagger Jones placed third.Â
Garrett Green led the way to victory in the 30-lap Street Stock feature. Super late model action was won by John Moore.Â
Joe Labrosciano snagged the Tucker Tire Figure 8s event.Â
