SALMON, Idaho —Salmon Valley Speedway will host the Tri-State Flat Track Challenge this weekend at the dirt track located on the Lemhi County Fairgrounds.
Both nights of the event will be broadcast live by SPEED SPORT affiliate, SalmonValleySpeedway.tv.
Salmon Valley Speedway is actually two ovals in one. The bigger track, a quarter-oval is newly resurfaced this year and provides great racing for sprint cars, modifieds, stocks, Flat Track Bikes and ATCs, while the sixth-mile inside the bigger track provides some amazing go-kart racing.
There will be 11 classes of racing this weekend, including the Rocky Mountain Renegade Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds and Sport Compacts, Wissota Super Stocks and Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Outlaw Stocks, Open Outlaw Karts, Quads and ATCs.
The Saturday program will also feature Flat Track Bikes with Salmon Valley serving up the third leg of the five-race Tri-State Flat Track Challenge.
New LED lighting around the race track will provide great viewing for those tuning in to SalmonValleySpeedway.tv.
