NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Stephen Nasse ran away from the field to win Thursday’s Clyde Hart Memorial 100 super late model feature at New Smyrna Speedway.
Nasse started second and rocketed into the lead almost from the outset, setting a torrid pace on his way to victory in the 100-lap event at the half-mile asphalt oval.
Brad May finished second after starting third, followed by Jett Noland, Bobby Good and Michael Atwell.
Reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, making a rare super late model start, finished eighth after starting ninth.
In other action, Michael Trocki won the super stock feature, Jared Zabele picked up a victory in the bomber class and Thomas Turano topped the ground pounder main event.
