HAMPTON, Ga. – Atlanta Motor Speedway is proud to welcome McCallister Precision Marketing as a marketing partner for the Thursday Thunder Legends Series presented by Papa John’s.
The partnership will see McCallister Precision Marketing become the title sponsor of the pole award for the VP Racing Fuels Pro Division each week during Thursday Thunder.
In addition, McCallister Precision Marketing will also sponsor the “MPM Hard Charger Award”, which will be presented to the driver who gains the most positions in the Associates Group Young Lions, Racing Radios Outlaws and Racing Radios Bandits divisions during Thursday Thunder.
Both sponsorships will continue through the end of the year and include the Bandolero East Championship on Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
“Ken Ragan and his staff at Atlanta Motor Speedway do a phenomenal job with the Thursday Thunder events,” said Tonya McCallister of McCallister Precision Marketing. “Each and every year they continue to fill seats and have huge car counts at Thursday Thunder. It’s clear everyone at Atlanta care about the future racer and we wanted to be a part of it.
“We’ve been working with the speedway to come up with a way to support these up-and-coming racers. MPM has been involved in the racing industry across the country. Last year we helped support Legend and Bandolero drivers during the Winter Nationals in Florida and everyone really seemed to appreciate it, so our partnership with Atlanta Motor Speedway seems like the most logical next step.”
McCallister Precision Marketing helps up-and-coming racers with career advancement and promotion while also helping companies form strategic plans for their sales and marketing needs. McCallister Precision Marketing also helps race teams secure sponsorships and build relationships within the motorsports industry.
McCallister Precision Marketing represents defending Thursday Thunder Associates Group Young Lions champion Ryan Rackley, who recently joined Lee Faulk Racing and Development with retired NASCAR competitor David Reutimann as his crew chief.
Another McCallister Precision Marketing client is Kody King, who is competing in the Thursday Thunder Racing Radios Bandits division. After signing with McCallister Precision Marketing, King signed with Lee Faulk Racing and Development as a developmental driver.
Atlanta Motor Speedway Legends Director Ken Ragan is excited to welcome McCallister Precision Marketing to Thursday Thunder’s list of partners.
“Everybody gains from this,” Ragan said. “Our drivers enjoy being recognized for their accomplishments on the track and we’re happy to have McCallister Precision Marketing backing awards that do just that.”
Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Thursday Thunder Legends Series presented by Papa John’s Pizza continues Thursday, June 20.
