NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — Ryan Luza won the battle and the war Friday night at New Smyrna Speedway.
Luza earned his second Pro Late Model victory during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing with a dominant performance in the Hart to Heart 100. He took the lead on lap four and led the remainder of the distance.
Conner Jones finished second to wrap up the class championship for the 57th annual event.
Brent Crews, Hunter Wright and Eddie MacDonald rounded out the top five.
Rain claimed the remainder of the feature events, with Matt Hirschman securing the Tour-type modified title.
Hirschman was the fast qualifier and was paid first-place points and money for his effort to go along with his four victories earlier in the week.
It was Hirschman’s fourth World Series title.
