NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — While the NASCAR Modified Tour headlined Saturday night’s program on night two of the 57th World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway, there were other divisions in action as well.
Conner Jones grabbed top honors in the pro late model division, beating teenaged midget graduate Brent Crews to the checkered flag.
Nicholas Naugle, Carson Brown and Hunter Wright rounded out the top five.
The sportsman main event was shortened to 12 laps because of rain and Adam Briggs took the checkered flag with Kody Brusso and Friday night winner Derek Griffith following.
