Eddington Survives Mountain View Enduro

SPRING CITY, Tenn. – Steve Eddington drove the Eddington Racing Ford Crown Victoria to a $1,000 victory Sunday afternoon in the 100-lap Trunk or Treat Enduro Race at Mountain View Raceway. 

Eddington led 65 laps and was the only competitor to complete all 100 laps. 

Josh Collins won his second straight 25-lap late model feature in the Knoxville Diesel Rocket.  Hayden Ownbey took the second spot on the Ownbey Racing Special and the 2021 and three-time Mountain View Raceway Late Model champion Barry Goodman was third.

Zach Shannon took the victory in the 20-lap Sportsman main event in the Shannon & Sons Trucking Longhorn. Brad Cross was Beginner Sportsman 20-lap feature winner in the Cross Racing GRT.   Ricky Tinch drove the Tinch Racing Special to the win in the 15-lap Open-Wheel Modified main event. Dylan Johnson in the Johnson’s Farms Camaro won the 15-lap B-Hobby Feature Race.  

Michael Fitzgerald won the 20-lap Thunder main event in the Fitzgerald Racing Special. Jacob Sharp of Crossville, TN won the 15-lap Front-Wheel-Drive A feature in the Sharp Race Cars Chevrolet.

 

Nathaniel Brown of Deer Lodge, TN was the winner in the 15-lap Front-Wheel-Drive B Feature Race in the Jason Brown Honda.  Michael Jones of Crossville, TN finished second driving the Jones Racing Special and Larry Patterson of Chattanooga, TN was third in the Patterson Racing Special.
