COLUMBIA, S.C. – McCallister Precision Marketing is proud to announce the signing of 13-year-old Conner Jones.
The McCallister Precision Marketing team will work with Jones, who recently made his debut in a limited late model for Lee Faulk Racing and Development, as he continues his climb up the racing ladder.
“I’m so happy to become a part of the MPM Marketing family,” said Jones, who hails from Fredericksburg, Va. “I’ve gotten to know Tonya McCallister and her team a lot since I started working with Lee Faulk Racing. Tonya has a lot of experience and I know she and her team will do everything they can to help me grow in racing.”
Jones has been racing since he was 5 years old, when he began competing in go karts. He soon progressed to Bandolero competition and in 2017 he was crowned the Bandolero Bandit Virginia State champion as well as the Bandolero track champion at Virginia’s Southside Speedway.
In 2018 Jones stepped up to Legends car competition as he continued his progression up the ranks. Earlier this year at Virginia’s Dominion Raceway Jones earned his first Legends car victory and since then he has collected a few victories, including one in the season finale during the Bojangles Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
More recently Jones made his first starts in a full bodied stock car, earning finishes of third and fifth in limited late model competition at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway.
“I’m so excited to welcome Conner into the MPM Marketing family,” said McCallister Precision Marketing owner Tonya McCallister. “He progressed from Brandos to Legends and now has really impressed me with his translation from Legends to limited late models. I’m looking forward to working with him and his family as Conner continues his progression up the racing ranks. I believe he has a bright future ahead of him.”
