Battle Of The Stars Set For Return Engagement

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – After a successful inaugural event, the Battle of the Stars will return to Goodyear All American Speedway on Nov. 13 of next season.

The inaugural running of the Battle of the Stars, which was sponsored by Solid Rock Carriers, saw NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Josh Berry score the victory in his first career start at Goodyear All American Speedway.  In 2022, the biggest names in racing will once again converge upon the four-tenths-mile track in Jacksonville, N.C.

“We were humbled by the overwhelming support we got for our inaugural Battle of the Stars earlier this year and are definitely excited to bring the race back once again for 2022,” Goodyear All American Speedway promoter Anthony Goodyear said.  “We learned a lot of things this past year and we’re going to improve the race even more next year to make it one of the biggest short track races in America next year.”

The Battle of the Stars is the third confirmed marquee race on the Goodyear All American Speedway season schedule.  The HetuStrong Race Against Cancer, which is headlined by the Carolina Mini Stock Challenge, will take place on Saturday, March 26 and the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour will make their inaugural visit to Jacksonville’s Action Attraction on Saturday, April 23.

The next race at Goodyear All American Speedway, the Hangover 150, will take place on Saturday, Jan. 1 at 2pm, headlined by Super Trucks and also featuring Mini Stocks, Bombers, Champ Karts, Legends, Bandoleros and Powder Puffs.

The complete season schedule will be released in the coming days.
