HUMBOLDT, Kan. — With changes on the horizon at the Humboldt Speedway for 2022, one of the biggest changes sees the USRA Modified division make is return to the weekly racing calendar for next year, joining the USRA B-Mods and USRA Tuners as part of the Friday night Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series program.
The season kicks off in traditional fashion with the seventh running of the Battle at the Bullring featuring USRA B-Mods running March 10-12.
Two weeks later, one of the most popular events on the USMTS calendar takes place for the 11th time with the King of America XI powered by Summit returning March 24-26. Thursday will feature USRA Modifieds while USMTS Modifieds earn points Friday and Saturday. Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods share the spotlight all three nights.Â
Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action takes over beginning in April. The Titans USRA B-Mod Series returns June 3 and weekly racing action carries the schedule until Championship Night on Friday Sept. 9.
The Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s kicks off the month of August with another popular event—the 16th Annual Summer Fling on Friday, Aug. 5.
The season finishes up with USRA Championship Night on a special Sunday, Oct. 30, during the final night of USRA national points.
In total, the USRA Modifieds will see the racetrack 15 times in 2022. The USRA B-Mods compete a whopping 22 times and the USRA Tuners will see the quarter-mile oval 19 times. Midwest Modifieds and Factory Stocks are also part of most Friday night cards.
