KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Sixty-nine cars participated in Friday’s practice night at Knoxville Raceway.
The season is scheduled to open Saturday night after a rainout stopped last week’s scheduled opener.
The quickest lap of the night on the half-mile black-dirt oval unofficially went to Kerry Madsen at 14.917 seconds.
Among others making laps in the 410 class were Mason Daniel, Brian Brown, Dale Blaney, Terry McCarl, Sam Hafertepe Jr., Aaron Reutzel, Trey Starks and Craig Dollansky.
Calvin Landis unofficially led the led the 360s with a lap of 15.979 seconds. The Pro Sprints presented by Pace Performance were led unofficially by rookie Mike Johnston’s 17.480 seconds.
