BEATRICE, Neb. – With un-spring like weather in the forecast later in the weekend, Spring Nationals race programs at Beatrice Speedway have been moved to Thursday and Friday, March 12-13.
An open practice runs from 4-6:30 p.m. with racing to follow on Thursday. The first green flag flies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
IMCA Modifieds chase $2,500 checks in Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main events each night. Both features pay a minimum of $250 to start and all Modified drivers are guaranteed $100 tow money.
IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms NorthÂern SportMods run for $1,000 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win each night and Friday’s Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $200 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and E3 Spark Plugs Nebraska State points will be awarded in all divisions. Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks also chase regional points.
The 27th annual Spring Nationals was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
