Three Divisions Highlight Port Royal Easter Weekend

PORT ROYAL, Pa. — Port Royal Speedway is set to celebrate Easter weekend with a three-division spectacular featuring the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars, the Selinsgrove Ford Super Late Models and the season debut of the PA Sprint Series PennsValley MeatMarket 305 Sprint Cars on April 8.

The Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars will compete for $5,000-to-win, while the Selinsgrove Ford Super Late Models will be vying for a $4,000 winner’s share.

Lucas Wolfe scored a popular victory last week in 410 Sprint Car action with a late-race pass of Danny Dietrich. After two racing events this season, Dietrich leads the point standings by a slim margin of ten points over Anthony Macri. Dylan Cisney (-45), Devon Borden (-55) and Justin Whittall (-55) make up the rest of the top five.

Meanwhile, Drake Troutman dominated last weekend’s super late model event as he led flag-to-flag to score his first career Port Royal Speedway victory. Rick Eckert currently leads the way in the series point standings with a 20-point margin over Jeff Rine. Gregg Satterlee (-25), Hayes Mattern (-25) and defending track champion Colton Flinner (-35) make up the rest of the top five.

This will be the first of 10 scheduled PA Sprint Series 305 Sprint Car events for the racing season, with Garrett Bard entering the season as the defending points champion at the speedway.
