CORNWALL, Ont. — Five divisions of action highlighted Cornwall Motor Speedway’s Sunday night slate.
Johnathon Ferguson took the lead in the 35-lap JLB Heating and Cooling 358-Modified feature over Ryan Stabler as both drivers were in a battle for the lead.
Stabler had a good line on top and took first on lap eight with Carey Terrance in the mix as he took second on lap 10. Terrance used a restart to grab the lead over Stabler on lap 12.
Terrance, the leader, saw a lot of movement behind him as Felix Roy was now in contention using the inside lane to move to second with Ferguson in third with 15 laps to go.
Gilles Godard brought the caution flag out with two laps to go. Terrance would not be denied on the final charge as he’d score the win. Roy grabbed second as Gage Morin completed the podium. Terrance collected his 30th feature at Cornwall.
The 25-lap Next Level Home Improvement Sportsman feature saw William Racine earn the victory. In Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock action, Marc Lalonde scored his sixth feature of the season.Â
Brandon McMillan reigned victorious in mini-stocks, while Marco McCarthy wired the 15-lap Novice Sportsman feature.Â
